Sofia Richie is enjoying the single life.

After two months of dating, a source shared with E! News that things between Sofia, 22, and Matthew Morton have “cooled down.”

“They weren’t seriously dating and were only casually seeing each other, but the relationship has definitely simmered,” the source shared. “Nothing in particular happened, they just both aren’t ready for something serious.”

Sofia and the 27-year-old co-founder of Cha Cha Matcha had been spotted out several times together over the past few months.

Despite going their separate ways, the two still text “here and there, but haven’t made plans for the holidays or seen each other.”

If you missed it, Sofia and Scott Disick split up over the summer after dating on and off for three years.

The 22-year-old model and the 27-year-old co-founder of Cha Cha Matcha were escorted by security out to their car after grabbing dinner at Giorgio Baldi on Friday night (November 7) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Sofia looked cool in a long, black leather coat over a green top while Matthew wore navy button-down shirt and dark jeans for their date night.

Sofia and Matthew first sparked dating rumors last month when they were spotted grabbing dinner together at Nobu.

Along with co-founding the Cha Cha Matcha shops, Matthew is also the son of Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton and brother of late Pink Taco founder Harry Morton.

The 22-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie and the 27-year-old Cha Cha Matcha co-founder made their way through the parking lot after dinner at Nobu restaurant on Saturday night (October 17) in Malibu, Calif.

Sofia looked cool in an all black outfit while Matthew sported a tan, suede jacket and black jeans for their night out.

As of right now it’s unclear if Sofia and Matthew‘s night out was a date or just two friends hanging out.

Sofia‘s outing with Matthew comes after speculation that she was dating friend Jaden Smith, but he later squashed those rumors.
