NCIS is welcoming back Meredith Eaton!
The 47-year-old actress will reprise her role as Carol Wilson on the long-running CBS series in an upcoming episode, which was confirmed by many of the shows’ stars.
Not much is known about the episode other than Brian Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer, has written it.
“We’re beyond excited to be able to work with Meredith Eaton again. She’s an amazing actor, who brings a wonderful energy to our show. Since her last guest appearance in Season 11, we’ve been chomping at the bit to have her back whenever her schedule allowed,” executive producer Steven D. Binder shared in a statement on her return.
He added, “Now, with the team desperately needing the help of an expert immunologist, who better than Meredith’s beloved ‘Carol Wilson’ to come and save the day? The only real question is, will she be in time?”
Meredith‘s Carol was first introduced in a season 7 episode with Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), and then returned in Season 11 for a guest part.
If she looks familiar to you, it might be because Meredith most recently starred as MacGyver‘s Phoenix director Matty Webber, and is best known as attorney Bethany Horowitz on Boston Legal.
I am so happy to be back with you again ! This is more than thrilling ! You’re not just a super talent onscreen – you’re also a super talented writer ❤️ https://t.co/xB6QnVENaG
