Milla Jovovich's New Movie 'Monster Hunter' Release Gets Pushed Back to 2021

Sony has pushed back the release of Monster Hunter, starring Milla Jovovich.

The upcoming fantasy action movie, which was supposed to be released Labor Day Weekend on September 3, will now be released on April 23, 2021, Deadline reports.

The move comes amid the ongoing pandemic as cases are starting to surge again in many areas of the United States and movie dates are now being shifted again.

Based on the video game of the same name, Milla stars in Monster Hunter as Captain Natalie Artemis, who falls into a portal and enters a foreign planet with her team of soldiers filled with hostile monsters. There, Captain Artemis and her squad recruit Jaa’s Hunter to assist in their survival.

The movie was written and directed by her husband Paul W.S. Anderson.

If you missed it, the couple’s daughter 13-year-old daughter Ever was just scored a huge role in an upcoming movie!

Milla Jovovich's Daughter Ever Anderson Covers 'Flaunt' Magazine, Talks Budding Film Career!

Ever Anderson is a rising star who has two very famous parents – actress Milla Jovovich and director Paul W.S. Anderson!

The 12-year-old actress is featured on the cover of Flaunt magazine‘s new issue in anticipation of her roles in the upcoming Marvel movie Black Widow and the Disney live-action remake of Peter Pan.

Here’s what she shared with the mag:

On the important lessons that her parents have taught her: “To care for yourself and for others. To be engaged and pay attention. When you don’t care you make yourself and others around you miserable and that won’t get you far in life. Also, to succeed, you have to be willing to work hard, and even if you make mistakes along the way, there is always something to be learned from them.”

On what made her want to pursue acting: “I like that feeling I get when I’m being someone else. From the first time I got to act in a film, I just loved it. It’s like playing a game—a game that you get to play out with the other actors who are all sharing and pushing you to keep it all going. A lot of kids at my school don’t like role playing anymore, so this is my way to keep playing with other people.”

On why she dyed her hair blue: “It wasn’t my choice to dye it blue. It was dyed this color for the film I shot last summer. I love my character in the film. She will forever have a place in my heart. I am her and she is me and that makes it so special because every time I think of blue I think of her.”

FYI: Ever is wearing a Viktor & Rolf Haute Couture dress, Fabrizio Viti shoes, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry on the cover.

Milla Jovovich's Newborn Daughter Has Jaundice, Reveals Next Steps She's Taking

Milla Jovovich has revealed that her newest baby girl, Osian, is suffering from jaundice in a new Instagram post.

The 44-year-old actress and new momma shared her plan to combat the condition.

“I’ve had to supplement with expressed breast milk because Osian has a bad case of jaundice that she hasn’t been able to kick, so we’ve been in and out of the hospital all week and they said the more milk she eats the quicker she’ll get them all out,” Milla shared with her fans about why she isn’t breastfeeding at the moment.

She added, “But she falls asleep so quickly breastfeeding that we’ve had to do the bottle feedings so she gets as much as possible. Poor one has so many little scratches on her heels where they’ve taken blood to test her for antibodies, it makes my heart hurt to think about. But hopefully the blood test they did today will show that she’s all better.🤞🏼.”

If you’re not familiar, infant jaundice is a common condition in which a baby’s blood contains an excess of bilirubin, a yellow pigment of red blood cells, and occurs when a baby’s liver isn’t mature enough to get rid of bilirubin in the bloodstream.

Milla just welcomed Osian a week ago, and is already a mom to Ever, 12, and Dashiel, 4, with husband Paul W.S. Anderson.

I hope you’re all having an amazing time tonight and I pray this year is healthy, happy and brings you all you desire! Sending so much love!!❤️❤️❤️ #happynewyear2020✨”
