Moana easily won this weekend’s box office with a whopping $81.1 million gross!
The Disney animated flick – starring the voices of Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho – landed one of the best five-day Thanksgiving showings of all time, according to THR.
Coming in at No. 2 was the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, starring Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, and Colin Farrell, which earned an additional $65.8 million for a domestic total of $156.2 million so far.
Taking the third spot was Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Doctor Strange, bringing in an additional $13.3 million for a total of $205 million.
Rounding out the top five were Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard‘s new film Allied, and Arrival, which grossed $18 million and $11.2 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, Warren Beatty‘s Rules Don’t Apply grossed $2.2 million from 2,382 theaters.
Billy Bob Thornton‘s Bad Santa 2 placed No. 7 with $9 million.
And finally, Nicole Kidman‘s new movie Lion debuted in four theaters in Los Angeles and New York to $128,368, for a location average of $32,092.
