Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union were honored with the President’s Award at the 54th NAACP Awards on Saturday (February 25), and they used their time onstage to speak to their daughter Zaya.

The President’s Award honors those who are dedicated to helping others and committing acts of public service. The couple was recognized in part for their work with the LGBTQ+ community, of which their 15-year-old daughter is a part.

While accepting the award, Dwyane celebrated his daughter and all that she’s accomplished.

Zendaya is back on the red carpet!

The 26-year-old Euphoria star stepped out for the 54th NAACP Awards on Saturday evening (February 25) in Pasadena, Calif.

She arrived at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium wearing a long black dress with lime green detailing and a slit up the front.

Zendaya highlighted the dress’ plunging neckline by opting out of a necklace, kept her makeup minimal and wore her short haircut in elegant curls.

Angela Bassett opened up about being told she “did the thing” by Ariana DeBose during a now-viral performance that opened the 2023 BAFTAs.

The 64-year-old Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress said that she thought the moment was “beautiful” and that she had been in touch with the West Side Story star.

She opened up about it while attending the 54th NAACP Awards with her husband Courtney B. Vance at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Saturday (February 25) in Pasadena, Calif.
