Freeform Cancels 'Party of Five' Reboot After One Season

The reboot of the ’90s drama Party of Five has been canceled by Freeform after one season.

The show was rebooted by Freefrom with an immigration twist. The 10-episode first season ended back in March, but the network has decided not to move forward with a second season.

Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado and Elle Paris Legaspi starred in the series, which had an average of 250,000 live same-day viewers, according to THR.

The shows was produced by Sony, which is an outside studio, so Freeform had to pay a licensing fee to air the show and the low viewership couldn’t justify another season.
