Noomi Rapace wears a chic velvet look to Lamb gala screening on Wednesday night (December 8) in London, England.
The 41-year-old actress joined director Valdimar Johannsson and producer Hrönn Kristinsdóttir for the event.
Speaking in an interview with THR recently, Noomi opened up about how she filmed with four baby lambs, as well as real babies and puppets for Ada, the sheep who becomes Maria’s daughter.
“Working with animals and kids, you don’t know what they’re going to do, so you need to just surrender and be there with them and accept that it’s divine madness. It was incredible how Ada was not a CGI creature,” Noomi says. “She was very much alive, and that’s because it was real babies and real lambs.”
She also recalled how it was very much a “waiting game for the lamb Ada to fall asleep” for certain scenes.
“Everyone’s waiting outside of the house, and finally, 20 minutes later, I’m tiptoeing in, and they’re handing Ada over to me and she’s finally sleeping. And then as soon as they called action, Ada woke up, like, ‘Baaaaaa!’ So we had to start again. And I’m not a patient woman, so I had to work on that every day.”
Lamb is out now, and you can stream it on Vudu, Google Play and Amazon Prime Video.
