Logan Lerman is passing the reigns onto Walker Scobell.

The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is growing!

The upcoming Disney+ show added five new stars to the cast, via Variety.

The stars will all appear in recurring guest star roles, joining lead Walker Scobell and Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries.

The live-action series tells the tale of “the titular 12-year-old modern demigod (Scobell), who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. With help from his friends Grover (Simhadri) and Annabeth (Jeffries), Percy must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to find it and restore order to Olympus.”

Alexandra Daddario is speaking out about the backlash to Leah Sava Jeffries taking over the role of Annabeth Chase in Disney+’s upcoming Percy Jackson series.

The 36-year-old actress was the original portrayer of the character in both of the Percy Jackson movies and after hearing about the hate that Leah was receiving because she is not what the character looks like in the book series, took to social media to defend her.

Alexandra Daddario is talking all about Disney+’s upcoming Percy Jackson series, which is expected to debut sometime in 2022.

The 35-year-old actress starred as Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena, in the original movies which came out in 2010 and 2013, and in a new interview, is opening up about if she’ll appear on the show in any capacity.
