Joey King Gets Glowing Reviews for 'We Were the Lucky Ones,' Best Work of Her Career Yet

Joey King is getting some of the best reviews of her career for her work in the new Hulu limited series We Were the Lucky Ones.

The 24-year-old actress is currently on a press tour to promote the series and is pictured her during a Washington, D.C. press day on Tuesday (March 26).

She is wearing a Marni look, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Pomellato jewelry.

Joey stars as Halina Kurc in the series, inspired by the incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II, determined to survive and reunite. We Were The Lucky Ones premieres on Thursday, March 28 with the first three episodes followed by new episodes each week.

The highly anticipated follow-up to the hit 2021 film arrives in theaters on March 1, and plenty of critics have had a chance to see the movie at various premieres around the world.

Here’s a synopsis: “This follow-up film will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) as he unites with Chan (Zendaya) and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”

'The Marvels' First Reviews Are In & Critics Have a Lot to Say About the MCU Sequel

The Marvels hits theaters this Friday (November 10), but critics have already had a first look at the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Starring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris, the upcoming superhero flick serves as a sequel to 2019′s Captain Marvel, and joins the lineup of the MCU’s Phase 5.

Here’s a synopsis: Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

With everything he has worked for hanging in the balance, Snow unites with Lucy Gray to turn the odds in their favor. Battling his instincts for both good and evil, Snow sets out on a race against time to survive and reveal if he will ultimately become a songbird or a snake.

Following the world premiere full of fans and critics in Berlin, Germany, the first reactions are now pouring out on social media on Sunday (November 5).

'Priscilla' First Reviews Are In - Find Out What Critics Are Saying!

The reviews for Priscilla are in!

A24′s film stars Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla Presley and Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley.

Based on Priscilla‘s own memoir, Elvis and Me, Sofia Coppola wrote and directed the feature film. In the memoir, Priscilla talks about meeting Elvis, their marriage, and the factors and issues that led to the couple’s divorce.

After premiering the movie at the film festival, Cailee won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress for her portrayal of Priscilla!

Priscilla hits theaters on November 3, and critics have begun weighing in on the film.
