'Ride Along' Continues to Top Box Office for Third Weekend!

The Kevin Hart and Ice Cube buddy cop comedy Ride Along is riding high at the box office for the third weekend in a row, grossing $12.3 million!

According to THR, the comedy flick has now raked in a total of $93 million.

Disney’s Frozen came in second after a sing-along version of the film was released, earning $9.3 million.

Zac Efron and Michael B. Jordan‘s new film That Awkward Moment took the third spot at the box office with $9 million, a little under the projected $10 million to $12 million that it was expected to earn.

Rounding out the top five were Katherine Heigl‘s film The Nut Job, and Mark Wahlberg‘s Lone Survivor, grossing $7.6 million and $7.2 million, respectively.

'Ride Along' Holds Strong to Top Second Weekend Box Office

The Kevin Hart and Ice Cube buddy cop comedy Ride Along topped its second consecutive weekend box office with a $21.2 million gross!

According to THR, the flick declined 49 percent, but pushed its domestic total to $75.4 million.

Coming in at No. 2 was Lone Survivor, starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, and Ben Foster, earning an additional $12.6 million for a North American total of $93.6 million.

Taking a close third place was the Will Arnett-voiced animated flick The Nut Job, which brought in $12.3 million.

Rounding out the top five were Disney’s hit Frozen and Jack Ryan, starring Chris Pine, grossing $9 million and $8.8 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, I, Frankenstein fell below expectations with a $8.3 million sixth place finish.

'Ride Along' Tops Box Office for Best Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend of All Time

The Kevin Hart and Ice Cube buddy cop comedy Ride Along topped this weekend’s box office, making it the best-performing movie of all time for the long Martin Luther King Jr. holiday!

According to THR, the flick ended with a three-day gross of $41.2 million and is expected to hit $48 million for the four days!

Coming in at No. 2 was Lone Survivor, starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, and Ben Foster, posting a three-day gross of $23.2 million and a projected four-day gross of $27.6 million.

Taking third place was the Will Arnett-voiced animated flick The Nut Job, which did better than expected with $20.6 million earned.

Rounding out the top five were Jack Ryan, starring Chris Pine, and Disney’s hit Frozen, bringing in $17.2 million and $11.2 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, David O’Russell‘s star-studded American Hustle saw an uptick in revenue with $10.6 million after doing well at the 2014 Golden Globes.
