Mandy Moore is opening up about her divorce from first husband Ryan Adams.

The This Is Us actress married the singer at the age of 25 in 2009 and they announced their split in January 2015.

“Not the smartest decision. I didn’t choose the right person,” Mandy told Glamour about her decision to get married. She says she felt “spiritually and fundamentally stuck” before getting divorced.

“I don’t feel guilty for it. I don’t fault myself for it,” Mandy added. “When people said, ‘I’m sorry,’ I was like, ‘No. Sorry would have been had I stayed in a very unhealthy situation.’ I didn’t. I found my way out. And when I did, things opened back up again.”

Ryan responded to Mandy‘s “didn’t choose the right person” quote on Twitter.

Ryan Adams tweeted his ex wife Mandy Moore just as This Is Us wrapped up its season two premiere last night.

It started when Mandy tweeted at her followers at the end of the very emotional episode, “How’s everyone doing?? You with us? #ThisIsUs”

Then, Ryan tweeted back, “Always! Rooting for you. #thisisus”

Mandy and Ryan got married back in 2009 and split up in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in June of 2016 and she’s now engaged to Taylor Goldsmith.

Mandy Moore is officially divorced from Ryan Adams.

The 32-year-old singer/actress and the 41-year-old crooner have finalized everything, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Mandy and Ryan got married back in 2009 and filed for divorce in January 2015 after six years of marriage.

Mandy is reportedly getting the former couple’s Griffith Park home, Beverly Hills condo, and 2012 Prius.

Ryan gets to keep his comic book collection, pinball machines, a 2008 Porsche Carrera, and a 1959 Cadillac.

Mandy is currently dating Dawes band member Taylor Goldsmith.

The 25-year-old entertainer sat down with the 40-year-old singer/songwriter, who just released a full cover version of her hit album 1989.

Taylor talked to Ryan about everything from John Hughes movies, to how she came up with “Blank Space,” to which song came to her in a dream! Watch below!

“The song ‘All You Had to Do Was Stay’ there’s this really high-pitched ‘Stay!’” Taylor said. “I had a dream that my ex showed up at my door, knocked on the door, and I opened it up and I was about ready to launch into like the perfect thing to say, and instead all that would come out of my mouth was that high-pitched chorus of people saying ‘Stay!’”

Ryan Adams has officially released his cover of Taylor Swift‘s smash hit song “Bad Blood.”

The 40-year-old singer has covered Taylor‘s entire 1989 album and will be releasing the recordings on September 21 and you can pre-order it now on iTunes.

“Ryan’s music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike,” Taylor tweeted after the release of the cover album was announced.

Taylor Swift is totally fangirling amid news that Ryan Adams will be putting his own Smiths-type twist on her 1989 tracks.

The 25-year-old entertainer heard that the 40-year-old singer/songwriter may be covering her album, and she rightfully freaked out.

“@hasief @TheRyanAdams is this true??????? I WILL PASS OUT,” she tweeted.

Ryan then got wind of it and wrote back, “Yes. Just finished Style. Badass tunes, Taylor. : ) We’re sandblasting them and they’re holding steady”

Tay then responded, “@TheRyanAdams Cool I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I’m going to celebrate today every year as a holiday. I’M CALM”
