Samantha Burke, the mother of Jude Law‘s child, leaves her home in Pensacola, Florida on Sunday (September 27).
The 24-year-old protected her baby Sophia as she took her out for the first time since returning from the hospital. Sophia was born on September 22, 2009.
“Sadly, Jude will not be able to see Sophia until he finishes work on Hamlet on Broadway in December,” a source told the Telegraph. “Jude is keen to see Sophia and will make sure that he visits her before he returns to Britain.”

Samantha Burke, now seven months pregnant as mother of Jude Law‘s fourth child, took to her blog to defend herself from allegations she is after his money. “I can’t tell you how far from a gold-digger I am. I’ve never dated a rich man in my life. I’ve always wondered how girl friends of mine could even ask their boyfriends to buy them clothes.”
Burke‘s spokesperson has said, “Jude has been responsive and supportive through the relationship and pregnancy and he will remain so as a father once baby Sophia is born.”

“Jude assumed she was on the Pill,” a source tells UK’s The Mirror. “He was stunned at being informed of the pregnancy. Jude feels like now he has been made to look the bad guy. The 5-foot-10 aspiring actress is pregnant with Jude‘s daughter, Sophia.
Samantha, 24, recently deleted her model profile on the portfolio website ModelMayhem. Her profile used to read, “Hello there! Well my name is Samantha, obviously. I am passionate about fashion and photography, but of course I just love to be in front of the camera. I’ve been modeling locally for about 8 years now and do not want to give it up! I would love to go full-time eventually. I worked in New York City this past summer of 07′ and I’m now across the river in Jersey City. I attended acting classes at the New York Studio for Film & Television. It was a commercial and soap opera based course. I loved it! I wouldn’t mind modeling AND acting.”

Samantha‘s attorney Daniel Thornburgh read a statement while with her brother Jason stood in the background. Afterwards, Samantha said, “I just wish that everyone could respect my privacy during this time. Thank you.”
On July 1, Samantha was seen going to dinner with Thornburgh and another unidentified woman.

The 35-year-old British actor is expecting his fourth child with 24-year-old aspiring actress Samantha Burke. Her mom, Lea Burke, a massage therapist from Pensacola, Fl., told The London Evening Standard Newspaper: “This was no way planned. Hell no. She was in shock when she found out she was pregnant and terrified to tell him.”
Lea added, “It was tough for her – she was going back to school so she had to change plans. She’s decided to come back home – it is too expensive to stay in New York and she can be with her family… I am already a grandmother, but am of course looking forward to being one again. Every mother would prefer if her daughter had a child with a man she was married to – it would be nice if the father was around but that’s not going to happen because of his job and she knows that, she’s realistic about that.”
Lea finished, “I don’t know him but my daughter said he was very ‘nice’ – she likes him as a person and they spent time together when she was living in New York. She treats him like a normal guy and he liked hanging out with her.”

Jude Law‘s baby mama Samantha Burke, a 24-year-old aspiring actress from Pensacola, Fla., confirms that they will be having a daughter named Sophia.
“Samantha, her mom, and her family can affirm that Jude has been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy, and know that he will remain so as a father once Baby Sophia is born,” Samantha tells People in a statement. “Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child, and appreciate your honoring her privacy during this special time. This remains a private matter between Jude Law and Samantha Burke.”
Turns out that Babies ‘R’ Us registry was spot on! Jude had a brief relationship with Samantha when he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year.
Jude has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost – Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.
