Janelle Monae isn’t shy about her boobs anymore!

The 37-year-old musician lifted one side of her bra top to expose on of her breasts on stage during the 2023 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Louisiana over the weekend.

Just last month, Janelle opened up about the insecurity she once had for her breasts, and got candid about her acceptance of them.

In addition to Janelle, Eve also made a big return to the stage over the weekend, alongside fellow musicians Lauryn Hill, Kelly Rowland, Tobe Nwigwe, Ice T, Ice Cube, Coco Jones, Sandra Denton and Cheryl James of Salt-N-Pepa, Tems, Wizkid, Remy Ma, and Lil Wayne.

While the performances were hot, there were also a lot of major discussion panels throughout the weekend.

Oprah Winfrey spoke to Danielle Brooks, Blitz Bazawule, Fantasia Barrino and Taraji P. Henson; Abbott Elementary‘s Lisa Ann Walter, Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Janelle James; and Tiffany Haddish joined Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, and Justin Simien for a fun convo on stage too.

Other celebs spotted include The Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawson, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Chandra Wilson, Isis King, Quvenzhane Wallis, Sherri Shepard, Al Sharpton, Diamond White, Ashleigh Murray, and Sinclair Daniel.

Vice President Kamala Harris also made a special appearance at the festival, where she spoke with The View‘s Sunny Hostin.

Spinderella is speaking out against Lifetime’s Salt-N-Pepa biopic.

The 50-year-old DJ took to Twitter to slam the new biopic about the iconic all-female hip-hop group that aired the night before (Saturday, January 23).

Spinderella was a member of Salt-N-Pepa alongside Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton from 1987 until her termination in 2019.

In the biopic, GG Townson played Salt and Laila Odom played Pepa. Monique Paul appeared as Spinderella.

“Sorry but I gotta speak on this Lifetime special.., Too often, Black women who have made meaningful contributions in their industry are left out of historical narratives,” Spinderella started her series of tweets.

“Back when Salt n’ Pepa was building our legacy, which is rooted in empowering women, I could not have dreamed that this same group would one day disempower me,” she continued.

“Words cannot fully express my disappointment when I learned a decision was made to move forward with a Lifetime biopic that wrongfully excluded me from every aspect of development and production all the while using my image throughout, given that I played an integral role in the group’s story and success,” Spinderella tweeted.

Spinderella added, “There’s nothing more unacceptable than a woman being silenced by another woman. It is for this reason, I will not be supporting it.”

Spinderella‘s final performance with Salt-N-Pepa was in fall 2018 as part of the group’s Las Vegas residency. As of now, the reason behind Spinderella‘s termination has not been revealed.

Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue are set to close out the the awards show tonight with a performance of their hit 1994 song “Whatta Man!”

Blac Chyna happily flashes a smile alongside Lamar Odom while attending the launch event for iGo.Live on Wednesday evening (July 26) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 29-year-old reality star arrived with her pal Sandra Denton (Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa) but shortly met up with Lamar once the bash got going.

Blac also found herself in the same room with her ex Tyga, who showed up solo to the event. They were previously engaged and share a 4-year-old son named King Cairo.

Tyga dated Kylie Jenner while Chyna got engaged to Rob Kardashian and both couples later called it quits. Meanwhile, Lamar was married to Khloe Kardashian for several years before filing for divorce in December 2013.
