Adele is officially ending her marriage.

The 31-year-old entertainer has officially filed for divorce from husband Simon Konecki on Thursday (September 12), TMZ reports.

Adele and Simon first announced that they had split up back in April after seven years together. The two share son Angelo, 6.

At the time, Adele‘s reps said that she and Simon are “committed to raising their son together lovingly.”

Adele and Simon tied the knot in a super secret ceremony and she confirmed their marriage during her Grammy acceptance speech back in 2017.

Earlier this month, an insider gave an update on how Adele was doing post-split.

Adele and her husband Simon Konecki have sadly separated.

The 30-year-old superstar and the 45-year-old businessman confirmed the news through the singer’s representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh.

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,” the reps told the Associated Press.

Adele and Simon began dating at the end of 2011 but kept their relationship extremely private.

They confirmed their marriage during Adele‘s Grammy acceptance speech back in 2017.

The former couple share six-year-old son Angelo.

It’s official – Adele has finally confirmed she’s married!

After months of speculation, the 28-year-old entertainer confirmed during her concert last night (March 4) that she and her longtime love Simon Konecki have tied the knot, after calling him her “husband” at the Grammys last month.

“I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record,” Adele said during her concert while she performed her hit song “Someone Like You.”

“Because as bad as a break-up can be and as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now,” Adele said.

Adele and Simon have been together since 2011 and are parents to four-year-old son Angelo.

Adele cancelled the fireworks on the Australia leg of her tour due to an accident that involved her four-year-old son Angelo.

“Up until last night, we did have fireworks for you,” the 28-year-old singer told the crowd about the display, that was supposed to occur after singing “Set Fire To The Rain.”

“My son was watching [soundcheck] in the crowd… a bit of debris went in his eye so we got rid of them,” she said (via an Australia news source).

After asking the crowd if they wanted fireworks and hearing huge cheers, she said, “Alright, we’ll do it next time.”

Adele seemingly has confirmed that she and her longtime love Simon Konecki are married!

The 28-year-old singer referred to Simon as “my husband” while accepting the award for Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

“My husband, my son, you’re the only reason I do it,” Adele said before walking off stage following a tearful speech in which she dedicated the award to her competitor Beyonce.

The cute couples were spotted heading out of Nobu together after dinner on Saturday night (January 7) in Malibu, Calif.

The outing comes just a few days after Adele and Simon were reported to have had a secret wedding.

Rumors began circulating after Adele was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

Although the couple has yet to respond to the reports, they have been together for five years and share a four-year-old son name Angelo.
