Steven Knight is giving fans an update about the forthcoming Peaky Blinders movie.
It was previously reported that a film based on the hit Netflix show was in the works with Cillian Murphy set to reprise his role as gang leader Thomas Shelby, but the showrunner provided some additional information in a new interview with Heart Breakfast‘s Jamie Theakston and Zoe Hardman on Thursday (July 28).

Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey step out in style for the photo call for their new movie Serenity!
The 36-year-old Ocean’s 8 actress and the 49-year-old White Boy Rick actor attended the event held at Ritz Carlton Hotel on Friday (January 11) in Marina del Rey, Calif.
They were joined by director, writer, and producer Steven Knight.
Anne wore a pink blouse, oversized blazer, and matching pants, finishing off her look with matching pink lipstick, a pair of teal pumps, and hoop earrings.
Matthew sported a light purple button-up shirt with a brown jacket, checked pants, and shiny brown dress shoes.
In Serenity, the mysterious past of a fishing boat captain comes back to haunt him, when his ex-wife tracks him down with a desperate plea for help, ensnaring his life in a new reality that may not be all that it seems.
