Jake Gyllenhaal gets into character while filming a scene for Stronger at the Boston Marathon Finish Line on Boylston Street on Saturday (April 30) in Boston, Mass.
The 35-year-old actor held up a sign for “Erin,” who was the real-life girlfriend (and now wife) of the character he’s playing, Jeff Bauman.
Based on the book Jeff wrote about surviving the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings, Stronger is “a deeply personal account of his journey of recovery, examining his inner courage, community pride, familial bonds and an unexpected love,” according to Deadline.
