Chris Hemsworth snaps a selfie with a fan waiting on the set of Thor: Ragnorak on Friday (August 26) in Brisbane, Australia.

The 33-year-old actor was spotted wearing his long blond wig on set, but he removed the hairdo while meeting his fans.

Chris has been hard at work this summer while shooting the upcoming Marvel movie down under alongside co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston.

Earlier in the week, Chris was seen filming a scene that disrupted the traffic of the city.

Just days after stepping out on the red carpet supporting his movie Star Trek Beyond, Karl Urban has shaved his head to start work on Thor: Ragnorak.

The 44-year-old actor is set to play the role of Skurge, an executioner who serves Cate Blanchett‘s villainous character Hela.

“Here’s to perfect eyesight and a full head of hair,” Karl captioned the below photo on Instagram.

On Facebook he wrote, “Less is more for Thor!” and on Twitter he said, “Thanks for the haircut!! @TaikaWaititi @thorofficial,” referencing the film’s director.

Jeff Goldblum and Karl Urban have joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Ragnorak!

The guys will be joined in the movie by fellow franchise newcomers Cate Blanchett and Tessa Thompson.

Jeff will play the eccentric Grandmaster, Karl will play Skurge, Cate is playing the new villain Hela, and Tessa is playing the classic hero Valkyrie.

Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to appear in the film as Bruce Banner/The Hulk while original Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins will all return.

“The continuation of the epic Thor franchise will be powerful and unique, and with the additions of Cate, Jeff, Tessa, Karl, and Mark to the cast we have the makings of his most dangerous and heroic adventure yet,” said producer Kevin Feige. “The sheer, raw talent each of these actors brings to the screen can’t be quantified. Having any one of them join the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be an honor, and having all of them is incredible.”

Tessa Thompson has landed an exciting new role – she is starring in Thor: Ragnarok, the third installment in the superhero franchise!

The 32-year-old actress will play the love interest of Chris Hemsworth‘s title character, according to Deadline.

Tessa will be playing a “kind of superhero” and she will reappear in other Marvel movies as well.

Thor: Ragnarok will start production at the end of July and other confirmed cast members include Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Jaimie Alexander, and Mark Ruffalo.

Tessa has been seen in the movies Creed and Selma. She will soon appear in the new HBO series Westworld.
