'Superman' Candidate Tom Brittney Sends Love to Fans After Losing Role to David Corenswet

Tom Brittney is sending a message to fans after losing out on the role of Clark Kent/Superman in the upcoming movie Superman: Legacy.

The 32-year-old British actor was one of three actors who were brought in by Warner Bros. to do a screen test for the upcoming DC Comics superhero movie.

James Gunn is directing the film as the first big project of his new DC universe.

The role ended up going to The Politician and Hollywood actor David Corenswet.

New 'Superman: Legacy' Casting Report Reveals Screen Test Pairings, Which Actress Advanced to Day 2, & Possible Lex Luthor Actors

A new report has revealed what happened during the screen tests for the upcoming DC Studios movie Superman: Legacy.

It was reported recently that three actors and three actresses were brought in by new studio heads James Gunn and Peter Safran to screen test for the roles of Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane.

The screen tests were held at the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, Calif. during the weekend of June 17. The pairings of Clark Kent and Lois Lane actors have been revealed. The tests happened across two days and only one actress participated in both days.

New details have also been revealed about possible casting choices for the villain Lex Luthor.
