Trolls 3 is coming!

The third DreamWorks Animations installment in the Trolls series got a release date on Monday (November 22) from Universal, via Deadline.

Jamie Dornan had a Dad fail in 2020.

The 38-year-old Irish actor opened up to Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week about how he spent over $300 on the Trolls World Tour movie, which he is in.

“So, this is what happened. You know the countdown two weeks out [from Trolls World Tour] where I constantly tell ‘em, you know I did it for them, I basically pleaded with Universal just to put me in the picture. And so, I was like, ‘It’s coming out in two weeks, guys, daddy’s going to be in this movie.’ ‘It’s coming out next week, guys.’ ‘It’s coming out in three days!’ ‘It’s coming out tomorrow.’,” Jamie recalled.

He added that his daughters were “so excited, like pandemonium excitement in the house. And then it comes out and I’m like, ‘OK I guess I’ll buy it on iTunes or whatever.’ It’s like 17 pounds, that’s like 25 dollars.”

After renting the movie on iTunes, Jamie realized that it was only available for a few more days after that and kept re-renting it as his daughters wanted to see it again and again.

“So, I’m like, ‘Wow, OK,’ buy it, you know they want it. You only get it for 24 hours, the next day they’re like, ‘Hey we want to watch Trolls again!’ I’m like, ‘Oh, sure.’ I’m gonna have to buy it again. I think I bought it 4 or 5 times!” Jamie says.

Then, he learned that he could’ve had it for free!

“After like a week I got in touch with my agent who was like, ‘Oh, by the way, Universal says there’s a code that you use whenever you want to watch Trolls [World Tour]. I was like, ‘Oh great. I’ve already spent like $300.’”

Jamie plays Chaz in the movie, which is available on all digital markets now.

His wife, Amelia Warner, captured a cute pic of Jamie watching the movie with their daughters, Dulcie, Elva and Alberta.

The 37-year-old actor’s wife, Amelia Warner, snapped the cute pic of Jamie on the couch with the two girls and munching on some popcorn while tuning into his brand new movie, Trolls World Tour.

Jamie plays Chaz in the movie, a bounty hunter who is trying to steal away Queen Poppy’s string and deliver it to the evil Queen Barb.

Anna Kendrick isn’t hiding the fact that she bought her own merch from the Trolls franchise.

During an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show with Justin Timberlake and Kelly, the 34-year-old actress showed off one of the figurines from a LEGO set that she had purchased.

“The day before things got really crazy [with the coronavirus], I went to Target to get supplies and stuff, and while I was there, I was like, ‘I should get Legos, obviously,’” Anna shared, revealing she bought the Poppy set.

She added that the cashier probably didn’t think it was her because “she wouldn’t be buying her own merchandise like an actual serial killer.”

Trolls World Tour is officially out and the soundtrack is the best thing to listen to right now!

The soundtrack was produced by star Justin Timberlake and Ludwig Göransson, and features the voice talents of Anna Kendrick, Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Anderson.Paak, SZA and many more.

“What’s beautiful about this movie and what we’re able to do with the music and where the world just is right now is everybody’s just listening to everything,” Justin shared in an interview with Apple Music.

He continued that he was “having a conversation with Anderson and we were talking about what is it, and that being the conversation right now. And we were like, I don’t know man, does it slap or does it not slap? That’s it. And that’s kind of what we tried to do with this soundtrack. If I was to ask you about your playlist in a day, it’s going to go from so many different styles to the other.”

Trolls World Tour is out on VOD and in select theaters on Friday, April 10.

Anna Kendrick is super excited about the Trolls World Tour early release, that was announced today.

The 34-year-old actress, who voices Poppy in the movie, took to social media to share the news with her fans, in case they hadn’t heard.

“This makes me ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜,” she started, adding a ton of heart emojis. “I’m so happy we can spread the joy while everyone stays safe 💖💖💖💖”

Anna added, “You can see TROLLS WORLD TOUR on its original release date, to rent in your own home ☺️☺️ I’ll see you all April 10th!”
