Chris Martin Brings Michael J. Fox On Stage for 'Back to the Future' Moment at Coldplay Concert

Chris Martin keeps it cool and casual as he is bombarded by fans leaving his Tribeca Hotel on Sunday (July 17) in New York City.

The night before, the 39-year-old singer hit the stage with his Coldplay bandmates – Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, and Will Champion – as they kicked off their A Head Full of Dreams: The North American Tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

During the show, Chris played a video of his son Moses requesting that he play a song from their favorite movie, Back to the Future.

The movie’s star Michael J. Fox popped up on stage to join the band for “Earth Angel” and then they also performed “Johnny B. Goode.” Watch below!

Coldplay Perform Hits on 'Good Morning America' - Watch Now!

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland visit Music Choice on Wednesday (May 18) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the band – along with fellow members Guy Berryman and Will Champion – made an appearance on Good Morning America to play a concert.

The band played some songs including one of their latest, “Up&Up.” The song is directly off of their newest album A Head Full of Dreams.

Chris Martin & Coldplay Perform on 'Today' Show - Watch Now!

Chris Martin could not look more excited to be singing in the rain during the Today show on Monday (March 14) in New York City.

The 39-year-old lead singer and his band ColdplayJonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion – performed three of their hits for the crowd: “A Sky Full of Stars,” “Adventure of a Lifetime,” and “Hymn for the Weekend.”

Chris commented on the show that the band hadn’t seen each other in a few days.

“We haven’t seen each other in a week, so we’re happy to be back together as friends,” Chris said to the crowd, adding, “Any time someone jumps up, it makes us feel pretty great. That’s the truth.”

Chris Martin & Coldplay Talk Half Time Show at Super Bowl 2016 Press Conference!

Chris Martin and the rest of ColdplayJonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion – speak on stage during the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Press Conference on Thursday (February 4) in San Francisco, Calif.

Chris recently told a funny story about his daughter Apple talking to him about the big show.

“My daughter said the sweetest thing yesterday. She said, ‘How are you feeling about the Super Bowl?’ I said, ‘Of course we’re a little bit nervous,’” Chris recalled (via CBS). “She said, ‘Dad, the worst that could happen is that you’ll get turned into a meme.’”

Chris Martin Reveals What Working With Beyonce Was Like

Chris Martin belts out in song on stage at the Telekom Street Gigs at Capitol on Tuesday (December 8) in Offenbach, Germany.

The 38-year-old Coldplay frontman was joined on stage by bandmates Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, and Will Champion.

Coldplay met up with James Corden the day before on The Late Late Show where they discussed how they ended up working with Beyonce on their new album, A Head Full Of Dreams.

“You get summoned to their castle, then you wait for about a week in a small room, where you’re just fed very minimally…They check me for lice and bugs and if you’re deemed clean enough, you get to meet Beyonce behind a screen,” he said jokingly.

Chris Martin stays under the cover of his hat on the way out of the airport on Sunday afternoon (June 15) in Sydney, Australia.

The 37-year-old singer pushed all his own luggage through the terminals.

Coldplay Regrets Naming Album 'Mylo Xyloto'

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Jonny Buckland pose with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts and Josh Elliott on Friday (March 2) in New York City.

The British band performed their hits “Paradise” and “Charlie Brown,” off Mylo Xyloto, on the morning show and also talked about the album’s unusual name.

“It’s just something that we thought looked really good but everywhere we go around the world people pronounce it in the most crazy ways,” Chris shared. “And we’re beginning to regret it now.”
