Idris Elba Poses with His Daughter Isan at the Premiere of 'Beast' in NYC

Idris Elba is getting some support from his family at the premiere of his new movie.

The 49-year-old actor hit the red carpet for the world premiere of his latest film Beast at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Monday (August 8).

He was joined at the premiere by his wife Sabrina Dhowre and their daughter Isan.

Also in attendance were Idris‘ co-stars Iyana Halley, Leah Sava Jeffries and Sharlto Copley, as well as producer Will Packer and director Baltasar Kormákur.

In Beast, Idris plays a father who is forced to protect his two teenage daughters after they find themselves being hunted by a massive rogue lion. The movie hits theaters on August 19 and you can check out the trailer here.

Kevin Hart Is Starring in an Action-Comedy From the Makers of 'Broad City'!

Kevin Hart has his next film role lined up!

The 40-year-old comedian will star in an untitled action-comedy inspired by an original idea from Broad City’s Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs, Variety reports.

Lucia and Paul will write the script and executive produce.

Malcolm D. Lee will direct. Kevin, Malcolm, Will Packer, and James Lopez will also produce.

Kevin, Malcolm, and Will previously worked together on 2018′s Night School. Kevin and Will also collaborated on Ride Along and the Think Like a Man TV series.

Kevin Hart's 'Night School' is Getting a TV Show Adaptation!

Kevin Hart‘s 2018 comedy flick Night School is turning into a TV series!

The show, based on the film, has landed a pilot order at NBC, Variety reports.

The 40-year-old actor starred in, co-wrote, and produced the film. He’ll executive produce the pilot with the movie’s producer Will Packer and director Malcolm D. Lee. Chris Moynihan will write and executive produce the pilot.

Kevin Hart‘s multi-cam series will focus on “a mix of adults at a night school GED prep class who unexpectedly bond over their shared experience and find themselves helping each other both inside and outside of the classroom.”
