Elon Musk and his girlfriend Grimes welcomed their first child into the world almost exactly one year ago and they gave their son one of the most controversial baby names ever!

Elon Musk is giving us a rare look into his family life!
The billionaire inventor posted a photo of himself with partner Grimes and their infant son, X Æ A-XII to Twitter on Monday (March 8).
The photo was taken at a SpaceX facility in Texas and Elon captioned the photo, “Starbase, Texas,” a reference to his earlier announcement on Twitter that he was trying to form a city called Starbase around SpaceX’s launch facilities.
Grimes and Elon welcomed their child in May 2020 and there was some confusion over the proper way to pronounce his name. Elon later clarified the pronunciation in an interview. However, Grimes said later that month that for the most part, she calls him by a nickname.
Grimes also shared that she liked watching “radical art” with her son and revealed the R-rated movie they had watched together.

Elon Musk is sharing a new photo of his son X Æ A-XII!
The 49-year-old Tesla and SpaceX CEO took to Twitter on Saturday (February 6) to share a photo with his 9-month-old son.
“The Second Last Kingdom,” Elon wrote.
In the photo, Elon chats on the phone while X Æ A-XII sits on his lap in just a diaper and pulls at his dad’s collar.
Elon and partner Grimes don’t post too many photos of X Æ A-XII on social media. The 32-year-old musician usually refrains from posting photos of their son’s face, so Elon‘s post is a rare surprise.
Just recently, Grimes attempted to give X Æ A-XII a haircut, but it didn’t go according to plan. See the results!

Grimes gave her son X Æ A-XII a haircut and it didn’t go as well as it could have!
The 32-year-old entertainer posted several photos of the her son with Elon Musk on her Instagram Story with the captions, “Not sure this haircut went well but he’s a Viking now,” and “Haircut inspired by The Last Kingdom on Netflix, which is a masterpiece.”
The baby, who was born in May, still looked cute despite the new cut.

Elon Musk is getting called out on Twitter by a lot of people.
The Tesla founder got a lot of heat from Twitter users after he posted that he “absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare”, after reading an article on the technology news website CleanTechnica.
The same article also called him out for another tweet he posted which mocked the practice of displaying personal pronouns.

After his comment, Twitter users slammed the billionaire, referencing his own child’s name, X AE A-XII, and making it trend in the United States. He previously came under fire for the another tweet in the same vein.

Elon and his partner, Grimes, previously stated that they had planned to raise their child with a gender-neutral parenting style in case their child does not identify with their birth gender.
Grimes has shared an extremely rare photo of her son X Æ A-XII!
The 32-year-old entertainer took to her Instagram Story on Monday night (November 30) to share a brand new photo of her six-month-old son.
In the pic, little X can been seen looking at a space-themed children’s book while wearing star-printed pajamas.
This is one of the first few pics Grimes has ever shared of X, whom she welcomed with boyfriend Elon Musk back in May.
Back in October, Grimes revealed the R-rated movie that she recently watched with X.
If you missed it, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, revealed that she is changing her stage name, and it’s just one letter long.

Grimes is opening up about her five-month-old son X Æ A-12 Musk and the type of art she has been showing to him.
The 32-year-old singer, who welcomed her son with partner Elon Musk back in May, says her son likes “radical” art.
“I’ve watched Apocalypse Now and stuff with my baby,” Grimes told the New York Times. “He’s into radical art. Like, he just actually is, and I don’t think it’s problematic to engage with them on that level.”
Apocalypse Now was rated R for “disturbing violent content, pervasive language, some sexuality and drug use.”
Grimes says that her son has actually helped her produce new music.
“The first version, there [were] too many sort of sharp bells, and it caused tears and just general chaos,” Grimes said about the music she produced for the app Endel. When she changed the mix, “X would smile more and stuff.”
Over the summer, Grimes responded to one of Elon‘s tweets and told him to turn off his phone after something he wrote.
