OlderKeira Knightley Has Fixated Fans
Keira Knightley leaves the Comedy Theatre after her performance of The Misanthrope to a crowd of eager fans awaiting her outside on Monday (January 25).
The 24-year-old British beauty insists on having a bodyguard to protect her from strangers and overzealous fans. “Keira says she needs him,” one of the actress’s friends told the Telegraph. “They have become good friends.”
“I got such a shock, I couldn’t say anything and this guy took incredible offense and started hurling the most amazing abuse,” Keira said of one man who startled her and verbally abused her. “It’s a weird thing to have to deal with, not on a day-to-day basis, but it has happened enough to make me quite jumpy. I’ve never managed to get used to people recognizing me.”
