Hailey Baldwin Steps Out for Dinner After Calling Shawn Mendes 'Amazing'

Hailey Baldwin enjoyed a night out at Craig’s!

The 21-year-old model – who will take the stage to host the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night with DJ Khaled – was seen grabbing dinner with a male friend on Friday (March 9) in West Hollywood, Calif.

She stayed warm in a black and white Off-White coat and heeled white boots.

“I’m nervous about how calm I am,” she told People. “I’ve been watching past iHearts and trying to get spiffy with the prompter reading.”

“It’s always kind of been the same thing — try to take it easy and don’t overdue it,” she said about advice from experienced friends. “I think people gravitate more towards someone being genuine. They can call when you’re forcing it.”

Hailey has been previously linked to Shawn Mendes, who is up for five awards at the show. She revealed that he is “working super hard” on his music, adding, “I think that it’s going to be incredible. He’s amazing, and I think that his music is also amazing.”

Regarding dating rumors, Hailey shared, “I just laugh most of it off. It’s quite funny to me, to be honest. I try to keep that side of my life as private as possible. I don’t feel like I have to explain myself to people because it’s my life.”
