Cheryl Cole: Simon Cowell’s Ego Must Be Bruised!
Cheryl Cole lands at LAX Airport on Friday (May 6) in Los Angeles.
The day before, the 27-year-old entertainer confirmed she’ll be joining Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as a judge on the U.S. version of The X Factor.
Cheryl previously worked on the British version of the singing competition and had been the winning mentor two out of three years.
“[Simon‘s] tried to beat me for years in the U.K. and hasn’t even come close! His ego must be so bruised, America’s gonna love this!” she teased.
“Talent-spotter, style icon, national treasure … Good luck and thanks for the good times Chezza, you always ‘absolutely smashed it!'” said a message posted on the X Factor U.K.‘s website.
