Mindy McCready Suicide: New Details & Celebrity Condolences

New details have emerged in the apparent suicide of country singer Mindy McCready.

At approximately 3:30 pm on Sunday (February 17), officers were called in for reports of gunshots at a private residence. Upon arrival minutes later, they found the 37-year-old singer deceased on the front porch, according to TMZ.

The death was apparently a single gunshot wound, and an autopsy is expected to be performed.

Since the news broke, celebrities have been tweeting their condolences.

“I grew up listening to Mindy McCready…so sad for her family tonight. Many prayers are going out to them…” Carrie Underwood wrote on her Twitter.
