Michael Keaton Falls Off Stage After Third Critics Choice Win
Michael Keaton took a tumble, literally, after hitting the stage for his third win at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.
The 63-year-old actor was on stage to give his third acceptance speech of the night – he won Best Actor, Best Actor in a Comedy, and Best Acting Ensemble all for his work in Birdman.
While walking off the stage, Michael fell into the audience and hugged pal Ethan Hawke as his recovery. He was seen limping around afterward, an eyewitness told JustJared.com. The moment was not caught on the television feed.
“Birdman literally tried to fly,” host Michael Strahan said while wrapping up the show and highlighting some of the big moments.
