Julianne Moore Apologizes for Snubbing Marion Cotillard in Critics' Choice Acceptance Speech

Julianne Moore has taken to her Twitter account to apologize to Marion Cotillard for forgetting to mention her name during her 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards acceptance speech.

The 54-year-old actress won the award for Best Actress and took the time to say kind words about all the other nominees, but forgot to mention Marion‘s name.

“One of things about being an actress, the hardest part is that you never get to act with other women – or very rarely anyway. But that doesn’t meant that I’m not watching and constantly inspired by everything they do. Inspired by Reese [Witherspoon] and her walk through grief; and Jennifer [Aniston] and that extraordinary pain; and Rosamund [Pike] and her rage; and Felicity [Jones] and her endurance,” she said in the speech. “I’m so inspired by you all and honored to be in your company.”

Rene Russo Has Laryngitis, Presents at Critics' Choice Anyways!

Rene Russo poses with her Tin Cup co-star Kevin Costner backstage at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The actress stepped out on stage to present him with the Lifetime Achievement Award, but she had some trouble speaking as she has laryngitis!

“Good evening. When I was asked to give Kevin Costner his Lifetime Achievement Award, I didn’t know that I would have laryngitis,” Rene joked. After talking about all the bullet points she was told she had to get to within one minute, she seemed overwhelmed. That’s when Storage Wars auctioneer Dan Dotson popped up in the audience and volunteered to speed talk for her.

Judd Apatow Makes Bill Cosby Joke on Critics' Choice Stage

Leslie Mann and her filmmaker hubby Judd Apatow walk the carpet together at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.

Both of the stars presented awards together and made big impressions during their times on stage.

“Somebody bailed out last minute and so they called me. They knew I’d be home tweeting about [Bill] Cosby. I was available,” Judd said while presenting Best Director.

Judd also referenced how Leslie‘s presentation involved her being obsessed with Josh Gad‘s Olaf character from Frozen.

Ron Howard‘s speech was wonderful and his kind words about his wife were beautiful. Meanwhile, my wife comes out here and basically says she wants to f–k Olaf,” he joked. You can watch the video below!

Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga hit the stage together to present an award at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.

Chris Pratt & Chris Evans Rep Marvel at Critics' Choice Movie Awards 2015!

Chris Pratt and Chris Evans hit the stage to present separate awards at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The guys were both nominated in the Best Actor in an Action Movie category for their work in Guardians of the Galaxy and Caption America: The Winter Soldier, respectively.

The winner of the award was ultimately Bradley Cooper for American Sniper.

Guardians of the Galaxy did come out victorious as the winner of Best Action Movie!

Michael Keaton Falls Off Stage After Third Critics Choice Win

Michael Keaton took a tumble, literally, after hitting the stage for his third win at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The 63-year-old actor was on stage to give his third acceptance speech of the night – he won Best Actor, Best Actor in a Comedy, and Best Acting Ensemble all for his work in Birdman.

While walking off the stage, Michael fell into the audience and hugged pal Ethan Hawke as his recovery. He was seen limping around afterward, an eyewitness told JustJared.com. The moment was not caught on the television feed.

“Birdman literally tried to fly,” host Michael Strahan said while wrapping up the show and highlighting some of the big moments.

Critics' Choice Movie Awards 2015 - Complete Winners List!

The critics were in charge with who won at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday evening (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The big winner of the night was Birdman, which took home seven awards including Best Acting Ensemble, as well as Best Actor and Best Actor in a Comedy for Michael Keaton. The film led the list of nominees at the show with thirteen total nominations.

Other big winners at the show included Boyhood for Best Picture and Still Alice‘s Julianne Moore for Best Actress.

The show also recognized winners in comedy, action, and animated categories, so there was lots of love going around the room!
