Man Arrested at Oscars 2018 for Trying to Steal Frances McDormand's Statue
A man has been arrested after he was accused of trying to steal Frances McDormand‘s Oscar statue at the Governors Ball on Sunday night (March 4) in Hollywood.
The Oscar-winning actress reportedly got emotional after misplacing the statue at the after party, but thankfully it had already been engraved and security was able to recover it.
An LAPD spokesperson confirmed to THR that the unidentified man was arrested.
Frances won the award for Best Actress for her work in the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. This marks her second win!
