Here's the Reason Why Ruby Rose Left 'Batwoman' (Report)

A source is speaking out on the real reason why Ruby Rose left the title role of Batwoman in The CW show of the same name.

The departure was apparently a mutual decision, and not the 34-year-old actress’ sole decision.

“It wasn’t 100-percent her decision,” a source told TV Line. “It was a breakup. She wasn’t happy working on the show, and did that make her fun to work with? No. So everyone decided it would be in the best interests of the show, and for all concerned, if they parted ways. It just wasn’t a good fit.”

Apparently, Ruby didn’t like the “long hours demanded of a lead TV role” and didn’t enjoy living in Vancouver, Canada, where the show was filmed.

The show’s second season is set to debut in January 2021.

Another source spoke out and said this was NOT the reason Ruby decided to leave the show.
