Prince William Reportedly Had Coronavirus in April

A new report has emerged saying that Prince William had tested positive for coronavirus earlier this year.

The 38-year-old Duke of Cambridge “was hit pretty hard by the virus — it really knocked him for six,” the report shared, as posted to The Sun.

“At one stage he was struggling to breathe, so obviously everyone around him was pretty panicked,” the article reads.

William was reportedly very determined to fulfill his engagements and fought hard to keep his diagnosis out of the media, following the news that both his father, Prince Charles, and British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, also tested positive.

Like Charles, William had quarantined at Amner Hall in Norfolk and was treated by palace physicians, as he carried out his duties via video calls and by phone.

Earlier this year, William and his wife, Kate Middleton, participated in several video calls to essential workers and their patronages.

William recently came under fire from royal fans for not doing this, alongside his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
