Anthony Mackie to Star in Marvel's 'Captain America 4'

Anthony Mackie is closing in on a deal to star in his very own Marvel movie: Captain America 4!

The Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier saw Anthony‘s original Marvel character, Falcon, conflicted over taking over as the next “Captain America.” Falcon does eventually carry the shield, opening up the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Anthony as the new Captain America!

Now, this movie looks like a star vehicle for Anthony to shine in his new role, Deadline reports. It’s unclear if the Winter Soldier, Sebastian Stan, will also participate in this Marvel movie.

Anthony has previously been featured in five Marvel movies, beginning with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which starred Chris Evans as the original Captain America.

It’s unclear when Captain America 4 might land in theaters, but we did find out a big piece of information about the next Marvel film to hit theaters!
