Robin Roberts Announces Break From 'Good Morning America'

Robin Roberts is taking a break from Good Morning America.

On Thursday (August 19), the 60-year-old anchor announced she is taking a break from hosting the ABC morning talk show, but don’t worry, she’ll be back before you know it!

“See you in September 👋🏾@goodmorningamerica,” Robin wrote on Instagram along with a video of her dancing off the set while saying goodbye to her crew members.

Although GMA viewers might be sad to see Robin gone for the next few weeks, many fans took to the comments to wish her a relaxing vacation.

“Have a safe and relaxing break Robin, Sweet Amber, and Lukas,” one fan commented on the post, referring to Robin‘s longtime partner Amber Laign and their dog Lukas.

A vacation is definitely needed for Robin, as she’s had a very busy last few months.

Along with co-anchoring GMA, Robin also served as one of the Jeopardy! guest hosts.
