Britney Spears is off of Instagram, and according to a new report, that’s entirely her decision.

After fans noticed that Britney‘s Instagram was deactivated on Tuesday (September 14), Page Six reported the alleged reason why.

According to the outlet, Britney is sending a “powerful” message amid her conservatorship battle in court.

“She’s happy and in a great place, and silence can be a powerful thing and a powerful message. This was her decision,” a source told the outlet, adding that she is taking some time away from social media “in light of the successful path that she’s been on and continues to be on [following] the news of [her engagement].”

Just a few days before, Britney revealed the exciting news that she and boyfriend Sam Asghari got engaged. There’s also a special message inside of the ring.
