Margaret Qualley Makes Rare Public Statement About FKA twigs & Her Ex, Shia LaBeouf

Margaret Qualley was asked about her support of FKA twigs after they both were in relationships with Shia LaBeouf.

For those that don’t know, Margaret was first confirmed to be dating Shia in December 2020 after they were spotted kissing at the airport. They were then seen together several times over the next few weeks.

FKA twigs filed a lawsuit against her ex, Shia, for sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress. Trigger warning. The details twigs ended up revealing about their time together included how LaBeouf would allegedly brag about shooting dogs and hid an STD from her.

Shia and Margaret‘s relationship ended in the first week of January 2021 and at the time, a source said she was aware of the “backlash” she received for continuing to see Shia amid the lawsuit filed by FKA twigs.

During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, published on Tuesday (September 28), Margaret was asked about her support of FKA twigs.

On an Instagram post by twigs earlier this year, Margaret wrote “thank you” to her for telling her story.

Asked why she did it in a public way, Margaret responded, “It was important to me for her to know that I believe her—and it’s as simple as that.”
