'Gossip Girl' Star Thomas Doherty Joins the Cast of 'The Bride'

Thomas Doherty is taking on a new role!

According to Deadline, the Gossip Girl star has joined the cast of the horror thriller The Bride.

He will be replacing Garrett Hedlund in the role, who “recently moved on from the project,” according to the outlet.

The film is described as “a contemporary thriller that tells the story of young woman invited to a lavish destination wedding in England, only to realize her presence at the wedding has sinister motivations.”

Thomas will star opposite Nathalie Emmanuel in the movie, which is set to be directed by Jessica M. Thompson and features a screenplay from Blair Butler.

The cast also includes Hugh Skinner, Sean Pertwee, Courtney Taylor, Alana Boden, and Stephanie Corneliussen.
