'Dune 2' Officially Confirmed, Release Timeline Revealed!
Warner Bros. has confirmed that Dune 2 is officially moving forward!
“I just received news from Legendary that we are officially moving forward with Dune: Part Two,” director Denis Villeneuve said in a statement. “It was a dream of mine to adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune and I have the fans, the cast, and crew, Legendary and Warner Bros. to thank for supporting this dream. This is only the beginning.”

The sequel will hit theaters in October of 2023. A second movie in the series was always in the cards, but one thing needed to happen for it to be confirmed.
The film stars Timothee Chalamet, who posted about the news on Instagram, as well as Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgard, Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, and more.
