Here's Why 'Spider-Man' Movies Are Not Streaming on Disney+

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in theaters and fans are trying to catch up on the recent films in the franchise before seeing the new film… but many are complaining about Disney+ not carrying the movies.
There’s a very good reason why Disney+ does not have the Spider-Man movies available, even though they have the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
Click inside to find out why…
Disney+ has some animated Spider-Man content, but none of the movies with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, or Tom Holland are available.
This is because all of the Spider-Man live-action movies are produced by Sony Pictures and are not part of the Disney film library.
Disney and Sony created a partnership several years ago to include Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Tom‘s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Even though Disney played a small role in the current Spider-Man trilogy, the films are ultimately owned by Sony and that studio gets to decide where the films are streamed.
None of Tom‘s Spider-Man movies are available on any streaming services for free. The only way to watch them right now are by renting or buying them.
