Hugh Jackman Announces He's Tested Positive for COVID-19

Hugh Jackman has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On Tuesday (December 28), the Greatest Showman actor announced that he had contracted the virus in a video posted to his Instagram.

“My symptoms are like a cold,” Hugh said in the clip. “I have a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose, but I’m fine.”
He wrote in the caption: “I just wanted to make sure you heard this from me. I tested positive for covid [sic]. Mild symptoms and looking forward to getting back on stage ASAP! Sending love for a happy and healthy new year.”
It was announced earlier this week that the Hugh‘s production of The Music Man would be cancelling all their performances through Jan. 1.
His co-star Sutton Foster revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 last week, praising the show’s understudies for stepping up.
