After Antonio‘s exit, coach Bruce Arians addressed his future with the football club and said it was non existent.
The head coach stated during a post-game interview that he was actually trying to get Antonio to enter the game, but he had refused. After trying multiple times, Bruce eventually told Antonio to get out.
After his surprising and viral exit, the decision was announced that he had been cut from the team.
“I’m not talking about him. He’s no longer part of the Bucs,” Bruce stated to press.
Another source told ESPN that Antonio was not benched before leaving the field: “He quit.”
