Nicole Kidman & Javier Bardem to Reteam for Animated Musical 'Spellbound'

Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are teaming up for another movie together.

The two stars, who previously worked on the 2021 drama Being the Ricardos, have joined the cast of a new animated movie called Spellbound.

They will join Rachel Zegler, who was announced as a cast member earlier this year. John Lithgow is also set to star in the musical.

THR writes that Nicole will take on the role of Ellsmere, the Queen of Lumbria, while Javier will voice Solon, the King of Lumbria. The pair serve as parents to Rachel‘s character Princess Ellian, who will lead them in a daring quest to save her family and kingdom after a spell transforms them into monsters.

The film is being directed by Vicky Jenson and written by Lauren Hynek, Elizabeth Martin and Linda Woolverton.

It was recently announced that Nicole would be starring in a new Netflix comedy as well.
