WWE Promotes Triple H to Chief Content Officer

Paul “Triple H” Levesque has been promoted to Chief Content Officer for the WWE.

“WWE is one of the most prolific producers of premium content in the world and I look forward to this amazing opportunity,” said Triple H. “Having spent my entire career in this business, I’m confident that we have the right pieces in place to continue to grow our audience and deliver for our fans around the world.”

In a recent interview with BT Sport, Triple H detailed the heart issues he suffered from that caused him to take a hiatus from WWE.

Asked if he feared death due to his heart issues, Triple H said, “The whole time. It’s funny, I get emotional thinking about it, in some ways, it’s a gift to look at your life through those eyes. If they tell you you’re going to die on Tuesday, no one is going to, ‘Oh sh*t, I have a board meeting on Friday,’ right? It’s irrelevant.”

Earlier this year, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H‘s wife, announced her leave of absence from her role as chief brand officer of WWE.
