Christine Quinn Says She Strives for the Flawless Barbie Aesthetic

Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn was asked if she still identifies with the Barbie aesthetic in a new interview.

The 34-year-old reality star said, “Absolutely. It’s always some variation of a Barbie, you know, whether it’s golf Barbie, or it’s Sharon Stone Barbie, whatever Barbie it may be at that point in time. It has just this flawless aesthetic that I always strive to.”

Christine was also asked about whether the image-focused industry has changed how she sees herself.

“I would say currently, no, but, a few years ago, yes, absolutely,” she told Allure. “I mean, I was 29 years old when season one came out, and I didn’t have social media. They told me, ‘You need a social presence.’ I never had Facebook, I never had Twitter, I never had Instagram, I never had any of that. It’s difficult. But I think at the end of the day, it just comes down to being really confident and comfortable with yourself and who you are. And that’s kind of what I had to do.”

Over the summer, Christine announced she would not return to the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset.
