Britney Spears’ Lawyer Wants Dad Jamie Spears Held In Contempt of Court (Report)

Britney Spears‘ lawyer Mathew Rosengart wants Jamie Spears fined and held in contempt of court over the handling of her private medical records.

Mathew began representing the 40-year-old “Toxic” star in 2021 and was on her team when her conservatorship was terminated in November. He has continued to assist her in legal matters and is taking aim at her estranged father in another court filing.

According to Radar, Mathew filed documents saying that Jamie should be fined $20,000 and held in contempt of court for trying to submit Britney‘s sealed medical records into court documents last month. The attempt was unsuccessful as the presiding judge ruled against it.

He accused her father of trying to intimidate her and called out a “scorched earth litigation campaign against Britney Spears.”

The lawyer also said Jamie was “improperly trying to use this proceeding to ‘vindicate’ himself (a futile task given his record as a conservator).”
