In the texts Majors‘ attorney Priya Chaudhry claims the woman sent, she admits wrongdoing and says she was assured by police that he would not charged.

“I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone,” the woman allegedly texted, adding that she told the police “this was not an attack.”

Variety
reports she added, “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. … I love you.”

The woman texted a few hours later, “I know you have the best team and there’s nothing to worry about I just want you to know that I’m doing all I can my end. I also said to tell the judge to know that the origin of the [911] call was to do with me collapsing and passing out and your worry as my partner due to our communication prior.”

Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” his attorney originally said in a statement before the texts were released.

The alleged victim reportedly saw another woman texting Majors and tried to take a look at his phone when the incident in question began.

Majors‘ attorney also believes there is also video footage from inside the vehicle that will prove his client is innocent of wrongdoing.
