Jonathan Majors Denies Wrongdoing After Being Arrested in New York City for Assault

Jonathan Majors spoke out after being arrested on Saturday morning (March 25).

The 33-year-old Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor was apprehended by the police in New York City after being accused of assaulting a woman.

He was accused of “strangulation, assault and harassment.” However, the star is waiting for a chance to tell his side of the story.

According to TMZ, the victim reached out to the police in the late morning and said that she and Jonathan got into an argument that turned physical on his part. She was said to have “visible injuries” and was treated at the hospital. She was described as being “in stable condition.”

Jonathan was taken into custody due to evidence on the scene but was reportedly released. It is unclear if he knew the woman who is accusing him or what the next steps will be. We’ll keep you up to date.

In the meantime, a rep for the star is speaking out in his defense.

“He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up,” the said.

Jonathan went viral at the 2023 Oscars earlier this month for showing support to fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe star Angela Bassett after she lost out for Best Supporting Actress.
