Twitter Temporarily Limiting Number of Posts Users Can Read

Twitter has implemented some new rules effective immediately.

On Saturday (July 1), Elon Musk announced that the social media service had put into effect a “temporary limit” on the amount of posts users can read each day.

A message now pops up on Twitter saying “rate limit exceeded” when users hit their daily limit of tweets they’re allowed to read.

Elon, 52, said Twitter was applying the new rule due to “extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation.”

Twitter’s new limit comes after Elon announced that “cis” and “cisgender” are now considered “slurs” on the service.

The social media service is also facing a massive lawsuit.
