BLACKPINK made history at the 2023 Coachella Music Festival, becoming the first Korean group to headline the show.
“It was the most exciting and nerve-wracking thing that happened in our lives,” Jennie admitted, adding that she had an idea of what it entailed. “I was under so much pressure, I think it was my first time crying. Just as soon as I was off stage, I just burst into tears. It was so emotional. I was so proud. And the hard work that we put on and just the overwhelming feeling that we got from the crowd. It was just a lot.”
