The 27-year-old BLACKPINK superstar, who is also a Chanel ambassador, made her Met Gala debut at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 1) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Jennie wore an ivory duchesse satin bustier dress embellished with a white camélia and a black ribbon, look 164, from the Fall-Winter 1990/1991 Ready-to-Wear collection.
She also wore Chanel bag and shoes, jewelry and makeup.
Rumors swirled that she and one of her BLACKPINK members would be hitting the Met Gala carpet!
The theme of the Met Gala this year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” and the event will honor the late fashion designer. The dress code for the gala is “in honor of Karl,” who has worked at such fashion houses as Balmain, Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel. The official co-chairs for the 2023 event are Michaela Coel, Penelope Cruz, Roger Federer, and Dua Lipa.
It seems Jennie might be making her Met Gala debut, after all!
