Hunter Clowdus (JJ Parker) – NOT RETURNING

Hunter Clowdus is NOT returning for season six!

TV Line reports that the actor won’t be back as his character’s storyline “organically wrapped” at the end of season five.

“I wanted to give the fans and that character proper closure. That said I began to feel very unwelcome there and it was really taking a toll on my mental health. I still wanted to come back for the fans but at the end of the day it was their decision to not continue JJ’s character. 🙏🏼” Hunter wrote in an Instagram comment in November 2023.

In another comment, he added, “I don’t want to air out details at the moment but just know I’m feeling myself again and although I hate the exit for the fans, I’m feeling great feeling wanted and loved again by those around me. 🙏🏼”

Taye Diggs (Billy Baker) – NOT RETURNING

Taye Diggs is NOT returning as a series regular, as the actor’s character was killed off in season five. There is a possibility that he could appear in flashback type of scenes, as he has left the door open to make a guest star return if the story called for it.
